Below is a detailed description of the stove service:

Firstly we sheet up the working area so as to not mark the carpets or flooring.

We check all moveable parts (Hinges, Door Latches, Vent Controls, Grate Bars etc) to ensure they're in full working order.

We also check that the stove glass and the firebrick chamber lining is still intact with no signs of visible cracking.

All rope seals and gaskets are then checked to make sure they still give a sufficient seal and we make sure the baffle plate is still 'straight' and not bent (both of which can cause the stove to perform inefficiently)

We then sheet up the fireplace opening and sweep the chimney. All the soot and deposits that are removed from the chimney flue are then removed.

We thoroughly clean the firebox chamber ensuring that all air vents aren't obstructed by ash accumulations as this can contribute to the stove working inefficiently.

Finally, we sheet up the internal fireplace opening and re spray the stove to give it a new lease of life!

We then smoke test the chimney and advise the customer on any parts that need replacing or may need to in the near future.
 

Parts are then priced accordingly.
