Ramsbottom Stoves take care of all your fireplace alterations so you don’t have to worry about employing multiple tradesmen.
Most customers properties either have a bricked up fireplace or a gas fire and surround they inherited with the house. In order to have a stove fitted the fireplace needs alterations, the aperture needs to be created or enlarged to accommodate your chosen stove and your existing hearth remodeled or replaced.
When a customer asks us to carry out fireplace alterations to coincide with us fitting a stove we do so with great care, experience and knowledge that we would expect in our own homes.
Removing and capping off your existing gas appliance, rendering the internal sides and rear of the opening, plaster skimming the front face of the chimney breast, fitting a concrete lintel to constructing a new hearth are all aspects of the job that we do on a daily basis.
This is something we can do for customers anywhere between Cheshire and the Lake District.
